We are excited about our new Set Apart Midweek Discipleship, beginning on Wednesday, January 14 @ 6pm in Room 5. This weekly discipleship time is open to all adults in the entire church, especially to those who are not connected to any small group Bible Study or fellowship. Those who have yet to connect with a small group are missing a tremendous blessing and opportunity for spiritual growth. The benefits of smaller fellowships are many. There are multiple reasons why every follower of Jesus needs to be involved in a small group setting, in addition to our weekly corporate gatherings. Small discipleship groups create the opportunity to take a deeper dive into Scripture and produce healthy discussion and unique insights into the Word of God. These are not lecture style meetings, but Spirit-led discussions that seek to understand the Whole Counsel of God's word. Every small-group member will be given the opportunity to share, ask questions, and discover more clarity. Small groups create opportunities for people to connect on a more personal level and allow relationships to flourish with authencity and transparency. We believe that a sense of belonging and strong personal connections are critical to building a healthy church. Small groups are effective for outreach, especially in home group settings. Friends and neighbors typically are less intimidated to visit a small group with somone they already know than walk into a corporate setting of strangers. Healthy small groups easily can be replicated and reproduced with the right leadership and vision. We are committed to training new leaders and establishing new home fellowships in 2026. Our Wednesday meetings will last about an hour and a half. All you will need to bring is your Bible and a willingness to grow in your walk with Christ.
